Purpose of UHBE
Before attending Level 4 and higher, you all must clearly understand the purpose and principles of UHBE. The purpose of UHBE is eliminating sorrow and reaching enlightenment. To get there, first and foremost, the student must depart from the physical illness and move inward toward the soul. I must remind all students of two important points:
First: Treating other sicknesses is the first bridge linking you to the experience of practicing UHBE dharma first hand on your spiritual journey; especially, those in Level 1&2 and Level 3. Only dedication in helping others, one could move beyond the sorrows and emotional bindings to learn the true meaning of giving. Only in such dedication, one could escape the loving of oneself that has been the root cause of so many deadly conflicts in the world.
To successfully achieve this moral goal, all students must meditate and practice UHBE dharma at each respective level. For example: After completing Level 3, one must be willing to withdraw (or pull) impurities from patients without hesitation and don’t get confused with actions performed by others at different levels. Do not ever listen to those without the responsibility of teaching UHBE dharma and approval from the UHBE steering committee. After completing all the lessons taught in Level 3, one will qualify to move up to Level 4. The most common mistake I have seen when students move up to Level 4 and Level 5 so quickly is that they are not experienced and do not understand all the lessons at lower levels. Ultimately, it leads to a failure in their ability to perform at a higher level. Cultivation is a long spiritual journey where each student must travel and experience the challenges himself.
More importantly, when treating others, all UHBE students must follow the exact instructions explained in classes. You cannot and must not mix in other methods when treating others. The proof is evident in so many miracles being performed every day at various centers. Such miracles are possible because of the simple reliance on our faith in the Grand Masters and the clear instructions in class. If a UHBE student does not follow this simple requirement, the Center Executive Board must intervene to prevent such practices because it is against our UHBE dharma.
Second: Study and understanding UHBE dharma are keys.
In recent past years, both Masters often remind students to try harder in their meditation, gradually open your soul intelligence so each student could move away from the physical sickness and inch toward the soul dharma. Such extraordinary dharma must be reviewed and analyzed through our teaching and applied every day. Only understanding such dharma fully, one would see the positive changes to both physical body and spiritual soul. Such is the only way to progress on this long cultivation journey. Recently, our web site has posted many letters to highlight not only the physical sicknesses that students have overcome but also describe their own cultivation journey experience. This is the main focus of both Masters to remind students that UHBE dharma is only the solution; the compass for our long cultivation journey that enable us to reach enlightenment.
Only true cultivation will bring understanding to students. Such knowledge will enable them to spread the goodwill of UHBE dharma and make them proud to be followers of our beloved Grand Master.
