Corona Virus and Members of Divine Dharma Meditation

Dear members of Divine Dharma Meditation discipline, I would like to share some thoughts with everyone.

As we have known that our DDM discipline have more than 100 meditation centers around the world, and all centers are open daily to help the general public. However, since the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic, all meditation centers are closed temporarily in accordance to the government’s order. The Covid-19 pandemic are spreading across the entire world and the deadly corona virus can infect anyone at anytime regardless of ages.

Recent statistics has posted some information about the susceptible level to Covid-19 infection which regards to different nationalities from various places in the US.

Transformation

After the group meditation session on March the 6th, 2020, Mr. Xuyen Hong Tran, the center leader and the management team of the Houston Meditation Center read the announcement from the DDM Headquarters, about the temporary closing of all meditation centers due to the outbreak of Covid-19. All members were quiet and looked so sad that the management team has suggested that everyone arrange their daily meditation at home at the same time, from 5:00 to 9:00 in the morning, and from 16:00 to 20:00 in the afternoon. In so doing, all members can feel themselves meditating together during this pandemic.

HOW OUR MEDITATION COULD HEAL THE COVID-19

On the beginning of March, me & my wife have planned to spend 2-3 weeks in USA to visit some family members and make a road trip to visit some town on the south of USA. It’s one of the most tired trips I ever had due to tight schedule and a long car drive with my brother in law family in Washington DC. I did not have chance to meditate properly. As the situation of Covid-19 was more and more serious, we were force to return home, after two weeks of trip.

The Covid Pandemic, a Wakeup Call for Humankind

The global outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic has become one of the most discussed topics on daily news and social media throughout the world for the past three months. At present, the outbreak is considered out of human control, and nobody knows for sure what the future will hold for all of human beings.

Normally in March, the beginning of spring, the weather is usually nice. There is no more heavy snowfall in most regions of the world. However, it is quite different this year. Many natural disasters had happened that scientists could not predict or intervene. Snowstorms, volcanoes, earthquakes, forest fires, floods, and hurricanes have occurred all over the world as we have seen so far.

That's right, have to farewell Thay co, class of level 5 has been completed, goodbye from Divine Dharma Meditation Head Quarter, Anaheim USA to return to Australia. Time is too short, but it gives me a lot of mixed feelings that I have not had anywhere else, it's true, which is hard to find in today society.

My deepest thanks to the Founder Grand Master and the 2nd Grand Master for blessing all members from all over the world the opportunities to attend the level 6th class at the new artistically built Head Quarter of the Divine Dharma Meditation Center in Anaheim. Our sincere appreciation to the two founder masters, Nguyen Duc Thuan, and Nguyen Ngoc Hai, all the instructors, and the Organizing Committee for taking good care of everyone during these three days of class.
