On behalf of all disciples from Mississauga Center, I would like to express my deepest respect and gratitude to the Grand Master Dasira Narada and to our beloved teachers, Thay Nguyen Duc Thuan and Co Nguyen Ngoc Hai. Also, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to the guests of honour and all members of UHBE.
Today, October 24-2011, all UHBE disciples around the world are happily celebrating the 165th birthday of the Grand Master Dasira Narada. He is our beloved spiritual Father who brought to life a preeminent method of spiritual cultivation, called “Divine Dharma Meditation”. As we dedicate ourselves to follow the teachings of the Grand Master, we are blessed with a healthy constitution and a peaceful mind. More preciously, we are able to develop true wisdom in our souls. As a result, we are able to rediscover the Divine Essence within ourselves and lead our lives in a complete and more meaningful way. The teachings of Truth of the Grand Master enable us to deepen our understanding about the sacred force of life, which is the true Love that exists within all of us and all beings in the universe. Following the calling of this sacred Voice of Love, we devote ourselves to the service of bringing goodness to humanity, to the development of meditation centers, and to the opening of meditation classes. We are trying our best to give everyone an opportunity to learn and practice the teachings of the Grand Master hoping that they too will cultivate to become better physically and spiritually the same way we have. These are our most virtuous aspiration and the achievements of our cultivation; we humbly present them to the Grand Master Dasira Narada on His 165th Birthday.
In honour of this special day, may we all express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to our beloved teachers, Thầy Thuận and Cô Hải. They are the founders and presidents of UHBE discipline. They have devoted their entire lives to the development of UHBE discipline, and to the fulfillment of conveying this teaching of Truth of the Grand Master to the world. Thầy Thuận and Cô Hải teach and explain to us clearly the sacred philosophy of the Grand Master. Their words of wisdom have pierced through our minds and touched our hearts, awakening our souls. We have begun to realize the true meaning of spiritual life and who we really are. We are awakened to understand that all human beings are in fact brothers and sisters. We all are children of the Supreme Being. Ultimately, we descend to earth to learn the lessons of being human in order to evolve. Once, we understand the true nature of our existence on earth, we begin to learn that no matter what circumstances we are in: delight or sadness, fame or shame, disappointment or contentment, we no longer want to blame others for our mishaps or problems. We try our very best never to criticize or hurt other’s feelings by any means. We avoid bringing pain or sorrow to any being. As we continue to ascend on the journey of evolution there will be time when we come to realize that we all have a sacred duty of giving Love that God has planted in each of our hearts. We should devote our lives to fulfill our responsibility in helping and supporting our fellow beings so that they too can ascend on the educational journey of evolution. As we develop ourselves based on this foundation of Love, we long for the day when the world will no longer have costly wars and violence but only peace instead. When we finally finish our education and duties on earth, together, we will hand in hand and heart to heart, return to our Original Home of Wholeness. This is the true meaning and the reward of spiritual cultivation that Thay and Co have been teaching us. As you can see, all UHBE disciples are striving earnestly to cultivate themselves. At the same time, we try our best to support others towards spiritual development. In so doing, we are helping everyone including ourselves to ascend on the journey of evolution. This is indeed the true meaning of living.
May we take this opportunity to express our congratulations to all UHBE instructors. Your virtue and merit have inspired us all. You have sacrificed your personal time with family, work and resources to follow the Path of Thay and Co, conveying the teachings of the Grand Master to the world, helping people to alleviate their sickness and suffering. You are the shining light for our younger generations and the best representatives Thay and Co have developed for the discipline. May we all fulfill our honored duty of being UHBE disciples and the good students of Thay and Co, following your example.
Dear brothers and sisters of our UHBE family. As our discipline expands the number of disciples coming to classes for initiation and training is increasing significantly. The preparation and organization for these classes is becoming more complex. In the past few months with the support of disciples from all UHBE centers in California, the disciples of Orange County Meditation Center took the responsibility to organize the Level-5 class. This was challenging, more than 150 disciples from 19 centers around the world attended. With this experience and momentum, the disciples of Orange County center volunteered once again to organize the Level-4 class of this past week, which had 243 students, and almost 100 supporting disciples from others centers. For today celebration of the 165th birthday of our Grand Master there are more than 500 participants which include our distinguished guests, representatives from government, news and public media and many disciples from worldwide. Because of their dedication, devotion, and commitment to the development of our discipline, the Orange County members have worked long hours to ensure our comfort and opportunities for learning in such large venue. Dear members of Orange County Center, may we express our humble appreciation to all of you. We send you our love and thanks, wishing you peace and fulfilling happiness on this 165th Birthday of the Grand Master Dasira Narada.
It is such a true pleasure seeing all the happy and enthusiastic faces of all UHBE members here today. Your faces are reflecting the love and courage we have shown after many struggles from within and without to protect our meditation centers. Our consistent efforts and determination are bringing the light of His teachings to our fellow beings. This in itself is our best, most sincere and heartfelt thanks for our Founder Grand Master and our dear teachers, Thay and Co. May we all live in harmony under the loving embrace of the Founder Grand Master Dasira Narada.
